Job summary

Charles Schwab India is seeking a seasoned software engineer to join our SAM Engineering team within Schwab Technology Services in Hyderabad. You will design, develop, and deliver solutions in an Agile Scrum setting, focusing on Alternatives Investments and Annuities platforms, collaborating closely with product owners and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes scalable, secure systems, production support, and adherence to best practices in testing and compliance.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years' experience with C# .NET
• 5-7 years’ experience with Angular
• 5-7 years’ experience with SQL
• 5-7 Years’ Experience With Cloud, PCF Preferred
• Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues using best practices to support live applications
• Prioritizes compliance, security, and scalability of data systems
• Executes strategies to restore services promptly and address disruptions
• Addresses QA challenges by applying best practices in testing and compliance
• Monitors and addresses security policy violations using best practices

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Charles Schwab Asset Management is responsible for managing the Investment and Asset Management businesses of Schwab. The Schwab Asset Management (SAM) Engineering team is part of the Schwab Technology Services (STS) organization, and this opportunity is on the Alternatives Investments and Insurance & Annuities Team development team helping design and build systems for the Alternatives and Annuities business. The Alternatives (Private Credit and Equity) and Annuities industries are a rapidly growing industry, and we are looking for individuals that have a passion for technology that want to be part of a collaborative team focused on our clients. Unlike other parts of Schwab, SAM works closely with our business, and we have a fiduciary responsibility to provide them with the best tools.

• Design, develop, and deliver solutions as part of an Agile Scrum team.
• Leverage understanding of software development principles and practices
• Support and triage issues and participate in production support to help develop resilient and secure systems to prevent issues that impact on our clients.
• Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to define strategy and scope of software requirements (decompose stories, design features, and prioritize tasks)
