Qualifications

Identity and Access Management is seeking a Security Developer to lead complex initiatives centered on IGA technology. This position entails providing technical direction to the team, ensuring platform stability, and designing, developing, and documenting Schwab-specific requirements to deliver robust IGA solutions. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with SailPoint, LDAP technologies, Core Java, and web services development, as well as expertise in managing non-production environments and collaborating across teams to establish a strong foundation for advanced IAM engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions utilizing established product frameworks and Java technologies.
• Lead team members, provide technical directions and manage work streams throughout the development lifecycle, from initial design through to production delivery.
• Employ advanced AI prompting tools, including GitHub and Copilot.
• Fulfill operational duties such as vulnerability management, system health assessments, log review, monitoring validation, and documentation updates.
• Collaborate effectively with both offshore and onsite teams, demonstrating proficiency in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

What you have

• 5+ years’ experience in Identity Access & Governance domain. Lead experience with developing tactical and strategic solutions.
• Hands on experience in Java, J2EE, Python, Perl, or other programming languages
• Experience with multiple LDAP user repositories
• Hands on experience on AI Prompting & LLMs to leverage & Protect IAM solutions.
• Develop CI/CD Automations for high environment deployments.
• Hands on experience of Agile project management tools, such as Jira
• Hands on developer experience on SailPoint IIQ & ISC technologies.
• Hands on experience on vulnerability management – apply patches, upgrades to various COTS IGA products.
• Certified SailPoint or relevant IGA product Developer.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Information Security field, Information Technology field
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision-making and conflict resolution skills
• Prior knowledge of Agile project management tools, such as Jira
• Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, both oral and written skills are required
