Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Specialist - Supply Chain (Procurement) to lead sourcing initiatives, manage supplier relationships, and optimize total cost of ownership using data-driven insights.

You will collaborate with legal, finance and operations to align sourcing with business goals in a fast-moving, AI-driven environment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics or Finance.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration or Analytics is preferred.
• English language proficiency at C2 level.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for key categories or business units.
• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on capability, cost, quality and service.
• Own end-to-end RFI/RFP/RFQ processes and provide data-driven supplier evaluations.
• Draft, review and finalize supplier contracts in collaboration with legal and compliance teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and track savings for leadership.
• Engage stakeholders with regular meetings to align sourcing plans with business needs.
• Analyze spend data and supplier performance to identify trends and opportunities.
• Drive process improvements and automation in sourcing and procurement.

Strategic Sourcing

• Lead sourcing initiatives for key categories, projects, or business units.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess risks, and develop sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) to align sourcing goals with business needs.

Supplier Selection & Management

• Identify, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers based on capability, cost, quality, and service.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and support supplier development initiatives.

RFX Process Management

• Lead and manage end-to-end Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP), and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.
• Analyze proposals, evaluate supplier capabilities, and support final selection with data-driven insights.
• Ensure sourcing documentation and bid evaluations comply with internal policies.

Contract & Compliance Management

• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to draft, review, and finalize supplier contracts.
• Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and update contract records and sourcing documentation in procurement systems.

Cost Savings & Value Delivery

• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities through negotiation, consolidation, or alternative sourcing.
• Track and report on savings and value contributions to business leadership.
• Support budgeting and spend analysis activities.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a sourcing business partner to internal stakeholders by understanding requirements and aligning sourcing strategies accordingly.
• Conduct regular meetings with business units to gather feedback, address issues, and share sourcing plans.
• Provide sourcing expertise and market insights to support decision-making.

Data & Spend Analytics

• Analyze historical spend data and supplier performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Maintain and utilize procurement dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa, Power BI).

Process Improvement & Automation

• Identify and drive improvements in sourcing processes, systems, and policies to increase efficiency and compliance.
• Support the implementation of digital sourcing tools and e-sourcing platforms.
• Keep sourcing SOPs and templates updated.
