Job summary

Genpact Ltd. is seeking a procurement leader to manage end-to-end procurement processes, supplier relationships, and strategic sourcing. You will drive cost optimization, contract management, and governance across internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, process improvement, and collaboration with finance, operations, and legal teams to deliver measurable procurement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in management, engineering or related fields.
• Experience in procurement, sourcing and supplier management is preferred.
• Certifications like CPSM or SAP ERP procurement related are a plus.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Procurement Management: handle requisition to PO and supplier delivery.
• Supplier Relationship Management: build strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization: identify suppliers and negotiate terms for savings.
• Contract Management: draft, review and manage procurement contracts and renewals.
• Purchase Order & Documentation Management: ensure accurate PO creation and records.
• Compliance & Risk Management: ensure policy compliance and mitigate risks.
• Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation: conduct due diligence and audits.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: align procurement with business needs.
• Reporting & Analytics: prepare spend analyses and procurement metrics.
• Process Improvement: drive procurement automation and digital solutions.

Job Description

End-to-End Procurement Management Manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order creation and supplier delivery. Ensure timely sourcing and procurement of goods and services in line with organizational requirements. 2. Supplier Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery, and competitive pricing. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to delivery, quality, or service. 3. Strategic Sourcing & Cost Optimization Support strategic sourcing initiatives by identifying potential suppliers and negotiating terms to achieve cost savings. Analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to drive procurement decisions. Collaborate with stakeholders to consolidate spend and optimize procurement strategies. 4. Contract Management Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing procurement contracts and agreements. Ensure contract compliance and renewals in coordination with legal teams. 5. Purchase Order & Documentation Management Ensure accurate and timely creation and tracking of purchase orders. Maintain procurement records and documentation as per company policies and audit requirements. 6. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations. Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies. 7. Vendor Onboarding & Evaluation Facilitate vendor onboarding and due diligence processes. Conduct supplier evaluations and audits to assess compliance and performance. 8. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Work closely with internal teams (e.g., finance, operations, legal) to align procurement activities with business needs. Act as a liaison between business units and suppliers to facilitate smooth procurement processes. 9. Reporting & Analytics Prepare procurement reports and spend analysis to support decision-making. Monitor key procurement metrics and track cost‑saving initiatives. 10. Process Improvement Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and systems. Support implementation of procurement automation tools and digital solutions.
