Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Hyderabad, India seeks a Senior Specialist Category Management Indirect Procurement to join our Global Procurement team. You will support category strategies, sourcing activities, supplier relationship management, analytics, and process improvements.

Collaborate with Category Leads and suppliers, assist RFIs/RFQs/RFPs, bid analyses, and help maintain category plans while driving compliance and tail spend management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and procurement experience.
• Knowledge of category management principles, including sourcing, procurement, planning, supplier interactions, and negotiations.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle.
• Experience with S2P platforms (Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba) preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow and iCertis or similar contract lifecycle management platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communication, presentations, and data analysis.
• Experience with spend analytics software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

• Support the Manager, Category Management and Category Lead in implementing category strategies across Professional Services, including Law, Finance, Consulting, and HR Services categories.
• Prepare category intelligence, market research, supplier benchmarking, and analytical insights to support category strategy development and partner engagement.
• Assist sourcing activities by preparing Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP), conducting bid analyses, and evaluating supplier responses.
• Summarize sourcing and supplier relationship management outcomes through comparative analysis of supplier responses, pricing, and evaluations to support decision‑making.
• Maintain category plans, opportunity analyses, supplier relationship management materials, and procurement documentation within the central repository.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, compliance reviews, audit support activities, and enhancements to procurement policies, templates, and training materials.
• Support tail spend management, category refresh reviews, supplier validation checks, and category development initiatives using internal and external data sources.
• Demonstrate responsiveness and accountability by managing category requests, providing timely updates, and raising issues when needed to support service delivery standards.

This role requires:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and experience in procurement; experience within Pharma or BioPharma preferred.
• Working knowledge of category management principles, including sourcing, procurement, planning, supplier interactions, and negotiations.
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as Oracle.
• Experience with Source-to-Pay (S2P) platforms such as Oracle, Zycus, GEP, Ariba, or similar platforms preferred.
• Experience with ServiceNow and iCertis or similar contract lifecycle management platforms preferred.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for communication, presentations, and data analysis.
• Experience with spend analytics software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
