Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Sr. Specialist - F&A - AP to lead a large Accounts Payable team and ensure timely, accurate processing of invoices. You will collaborate with finance partners, manage SLAs, and drive process improvements using data insights and governance.

You will mentor team members, participate in governance calls, and own projects that optimize cash flow and reporting. A strong accounting background and hands-on experience with AP processes are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance required.
• Experience in Accounts Payable processes and KPI reporting.
• Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
• Proven stakeholder management and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a large Accounts Payable team and ensure SLA adherence.
• Oversee invoicing, audit requests, and AP process analysis.
• Coordinate with Business Accounting and internal partners to resolve issues.
• Manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for all the activities related to record to report which include but are not extensive:Lead a large Accounts Payable teamEnsure baseline values adherence for all Service Level Agreements-KPI & CPIReview the team’s day to day activities, including but not limited to invoicing, audit requests, analysis and other requests pertaining to the accounts payable processHandle close timelines and communicate on a timely basis adhering to deadlinesHarmonize with the Business Accounting team and internal partners to resolve issuesManage multiple internal and external stakeholdersSupport the metrics reporting for the relevant processPeople Management – be a peoples manager involving in hiring, structured learning path, operations mentor for the team.Participate and lead governance calls with internal / external stakeholdersParticipate and own projects and drive outcomes
