Target is seeking a Senior Specialist, Comp Intel Ops to identify comparable matches in competitors for Target items online and in stores. You will help ensure competitive price positioning by evaluating product attributes and maintaining data quality across pricing processes.

You will collaborate with product, support, and business teams to deliver accurate, timely insights and to develop best methods for pricing operations while maintaining an inclusive team environment.

Job description

As Senior Specialist, Comp Intel Ops, you will be responsible for identifying comparable matches in competitors for key items online and in stores to ensure Target is accurately price positioned verses the competitors.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Product Identification - Identify & match Target items with the competitors taking various product/item attributes into consideration for the assigned departments.
• Ensure to identify comparable matches in at least one of our competitors to be able to competitively price items
• Data Quality – Ensure quality in competitor data gathered by reviewing and analyzing data through regular audits of competitor matches
• Maintain flawless execution with 100% accuracy and timeliness, gain expertise of the assigned departments
• Escalate procedural/technical issues to the engineering teams
• Prioritizes multiple tasks to complete work on time
• Ownership of daily deliverables across divisions, weekly recaps and meeting with Leader
• Ensure timely and proactive communication with key stakeholders
• Demonstrate ability to work as a team and cultivate an inclusive environment
• Demonstrates initiative to pursue and develop process Best Methods.
• Creates and documents new best methods where appropriate
• Reports to Manager, Comp Intel Ops.
• Partners with a Lead Specialist to support one or more divisions.
• Develop and maintain working relationship with Product Owners, Support Teams, Business teams and all other teams related to pricing operations, to cohesively work towards achieving the business mission and goals

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate with 1-2 year of work experience
• Proficiency in excel and good knowledge of other MS Office tools
• Approaches problems with curiosity and generates creative solutions
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectivelyAbility to work well with others and contribute to a positive environment.
• Highly motivated and committed to the development of high-quality work

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in Retail
• Minimum work experience of 1 years in Retail Operations
• Proficiency in Target Merchandising and related systems
• Hands on knowledge in Advanced Excel
