Effectively transform the business requirements into an IT solution design specification, ultimately leading to meeting customer expectations while ensuring solutions are safe, reliable, scalable, and flexible.
Act as an advisor providing guidance to improve global business processes, products, services, and software through data analysis.
Engage with global business leaders and leverage the appropriate DDIT teams and functions to determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and add value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistency and traceability between user requirements, functional specifications, and testing & validation. Support validation and testing as appropriate, and ensure adherence to Security and Compliance policies within Service Delivery scope.
- Stay updated on internal IT systems, documentation requirements, standards (including quality management and IT security), regulatory environments (if applicable), DDIT Service Portfolio, and industry best practices for leveraging technologies and reusable products, solutions, and services.
- Develop project rationale and perform scoping assessments to determine project feasibility.
- Identify gaps in existing functionality and review requirements with stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive requirement specifications to estimate costs, time, and resources needed for deployment.
- Liaise with the service development team to suggest high-level functional solutions.
- Develop project estimates and complete financial models considering costs, savings, revenue opportunities, and investment horizons.
- Ensure relevant stakeholders are involved in specifying new services or major upgrades.
- Consider user experience in designing and deploying solutions and services.
- Maintain consistency and traceability between requirements, specifications, and validation/testing processes.
- Ensure solutions are according to specifications and fit for purpose; support super user training.
- Stay updated on internal IT systems, documentation standards, quality management, and IT security.
Essential Requirements
- University degree in Informatics, Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, or similar.
Experience
- At least 6+ years of experience in the Pharma or IT industry.
- Experience in the Supply Chain IT domain; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Experience as a business analyst, process expert, business IT lead superuser, or in Supply Chain roles.
- Good understanding of business process analysis, system architecture concepts.
- Knowledge of GXP, 21CFR Part 11, and the CSV lifecycle.
- Knowledge of IRT systems, labeling systems like Priysm, and managing third-party logistics systems is preferred.
- Prior experience with TRD and knowledge of TRD business processes is preferred.
- Ability to solve complex business process and information challenges.
- Proficient in working with global teams, collaboration, facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution in a matrix environment.
