Job Description

Job Title: Sr. Software Technologist I

Your role:

  • Design, build, and integrate software components and third‑party libraries; implement telemetry to log performance/usage, and optimize bottlenecks so our applications meet quality and performance benchmarks.
  • Contribute to our Visualization value stream by developing advanced 2D/3D rendering and interactive tools for DICOM data, including measurement, segmentation, and other diagnostic viewing features.
  • Ship features with cross‑functional teams and multiple Philips Business Units; our stack includes .NET for services and Angular/React for web applications.
  • Coach peers through code reviews, set development quality goals, and drive continuous improvement using Agile, DevOps, TDD, and SDLC best practices.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have 10+ years of professional software development experience with Bachelor's / Master's degree with strong project experience.
  • Proficient in modern engineering practices (version control, code reviews, automated testing).
  • Expertise in building APIs/services (preferably C#/.NET).
  • Should collaborate effectively in agile teams, actively participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and code reviews. And communicate clearly with developers, testers, and product owners, help to drive alignment and shared ownership of deliverables across disciplines.
  • Experience with Angular/React, DICOM visualization and clinical workflows is highly valued for this role; Healthcare/imaging (e.g., DICOM/FHIR), Cloud Services (AWS) exposure is a plus.
