Sr. Software Engineer (.NET)

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with experience to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable .NET applications. This role requires a solid understanding of the OOPs concept, .NET framework, SQL databases, and web technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Work with the team architects and product owners/managers to design and implement innovative solutions to address specific business problems.
• Collaborate closely with other developers, UI/UX designers, business analysts, and project managers to meet project goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Review, update, and refactor existing code to improve performance and scalability.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting, ensuring clear and comprehensive documentation of code and functionalities.

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in application development, debugging, and troubleshooting .NET Core applications to identify and resolve issues effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of .NET Core performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of design patterns, caching, and performance improvement techniques.
• Ability to write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages.
• Experience mentoring junior team members and writing neat, reusable code.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in .NET development, preferably with exposure to the banking and finance sector.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Mandatory Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in OOPs concepts, C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, ADO.NET, Dapper, LINQ, Web API development, unit testing (XUnit or similar), and strong debugging skills.
• Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with Git, third-party API integration, JWT services.
• Database skills including tables, views, stored procedures, jobs, triggers, and functions.
