Job summary

You'll coordinate production planning, scheduling, and order lifecycle activities, leveraging MRP types and lot-sizing strategies to address supply-demand imbalances and planning exceptions.

Requirement/Description:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
• SAP PP (Production Planning) certification preferred.
• 5-8 years of SAP ECC Production Planning / Manufacturing support experience.
• Experience supporting global manufacturing operations in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong incident management, root cause analysis, and production support experience.
• Production Planning (PP)
• Extensive experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), demand management, planned orders, procurement proposals, capacity planning, and production planning strategies.
• Deep understanding of make-to-stock (MTS), make-to-order (MTO), repetitive manufacturing, and engineer-to-order manufacturing processes.
• Experience troubleshooting MRP exceptions, planning inconsistencies, and supply-demand imbalances.
• Production Orders & Shop Floor Execution
• Expertise in production order lifecycle including creation, release, scheduling, confirmation, goods issue, goods receipt, settlement, and order closure.
• Experience supporting order types, control keys, confirmation parameters, scheduling parameters, and order status management.
• Knowledge of production execution and shop floor processes.
• Master Data
• Strong experience with manufacturing master data including:
• Material Master
• Bill of Material (BOM)
• Work Centers
• Routings
• Production Versions
• Production Resources/Tools (PRT)
• Engineering Change Management (ECM)
• Understanding of master data governance and impact analysis across planning and execution processes.
