Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a senior .NET/Azure specialist to design, code, test, and deploy scalable applications. You will drive cloud migration from on-prem to Azure, align with multiple engineering teams, and optimize costs while ensuring robust security and SDLC adherence.

With 10+ years in C#/.NET and 3+ years in Azure, you will influence architecture decisions and delivery practices across the enterprise, including healthcare domain familiarity and SAFe agile disciplines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with C#/.NET.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure.
• Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework.
• Experience with ASP.NET, Razor, Web API, Webpages, Blazor.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and BitBucket/GitLab/GitHub.
• Experience with SAFe Agile (Scrum).
• Understanding of OOP and debugging techniques.
• Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management knowledge.
• Security-focused with strong SDLC understanding.
• Proven track record delivering maintainable code.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, code, test, and debug .NET applications using best practices, ensuring high performance, security, and maintainability
• Assisting in production problem resolution as needed, including occasional off-hour support
• Working on projects through the full development life cycle including stakeholder demos and presentations, project scoping and requirements definition, prototyping, development, testing, and deployment
• Staying up to date and providing recommendations on the latest technologies, trends, and best practices that should be incorporated into the company's development efforts
• Create migration strategy to migrate legacy on-premise to Azure cloud
• Work with different software engineering teams to understand each teams' roadmap for cloud adoption and create overall roadmap for the application including priorities, timelines, dependencies
• Identify the opportunities for cost optimization while solutioning the Cloud adoption architecture
• Design the Azure native architecture for the multiple on-premise

Builder Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions using no-code, low-code, and advanced platforms, translating business needs into scalable applications that enhance products, workflows, and decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with C#/.NET
• 3+ years of experience with Azure
• Experience with SQL Server, possibly through Entity Framework
• Experience with ASP.NET, Razor, Web API, Webpages, Blazor
• Experience with CI/CD process and tools and BitBucket/GitLab/GitHub
• Experience with SAFe Agile methodology (Scrum)
• Understanding of object-oriented programming language (OOP) and troubleshooting techniques to debug source code
• Knowledgeable of healthcare industry and Revenue Cycle Management
• Proficiency in upfront security and strong understanding of software development lifecycle
• Proven track record of continuously delivering efficient, maintainable, bug-free code
