Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET Core, and SQL Server. You will architect microservices, build RESTful APIs, and deliver responsive front-end work with Angular and TypeScript.

Responsibilities include implementing secure auth with JWT/OAuth 2.0, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, containerizing with Docker, deploying on Kubernetes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile

Qualifications

• Graduate degree or equivalent experience
• BE/Btech/MCA/ Bachelor in Computer Science/Applications

• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems
• Build responsive front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
• Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned SQL solutions
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth 2.0
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git actions
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Apply SOLID, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns and best coding practices
• Participate in code reviews and debugging
• Develop unit and integration tests
• Monitor, identify bottlenecks, and optimize performance
• Work in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to planning, backlog refinement
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering standards

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET Core, Web APIs, and SQL Server
• Architect and implement microservices-based solutions, ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and performance
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap
• Design and optimize database schemas, write efficient T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and performance-tuned SQL solutions
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth 2.0, and industry best practices
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using GIT actions to automate build, deployment, and release processes
• Containerize applications using Docker and deploy/manage workloads on Kubernetes platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Apply SOLID principles, Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, and best coding practices to ensure maintainable and robust software
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of production issues
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality, reliability, and performance
• Monitor applications, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, backlog refinement, and release activities
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, technical standards, and engineering best practices
