Job summary

Sabre is seeking an experienced EPM Systems Administrator to serve as the primary contact for Sabre’s EPM systems (HFM and Essbase). The role involves maintaining and developing HFM and Essbase applications, coordinating with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury, and audit teams, and supporting month-end close and forecasting processes.

The candidate should have 5+ years of hands-on experience with HFM/FDMEE/Smart View/DRM, and knowledge of Windows Server 2012, MaxL, and Financial Reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
• Understanding of Accounting and Finance basic concepts is required.
• MBA is a plus; Perl knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HFM systems across PROD, CERT, TEST; sync monthly.
• Develop/modify HFM rules per accounting needs.
• Develop/modify FDMEE interfaces from SAP to HFM (flat file).
• Perform metadata maintenance in DRM for HFM.
• Provision/deprovision users as requested.
• Support Accounting/Finance during month-end close.
• Maintain Essbase databases (BSO/ASO) monthly.
• Support Finance during Forecast, Planning, and Multiyear Outlook.
• Provide Smart View support to users.

General Description

The EPM systems administrator will be the key contact for Sabre’s EPM systems (HFM and Essbase) with responsibility for maintaining and developing the HFM and Essbase applications.

In addition to establishing and maintaining good working relationships internally, this position will participate in various cross-functional organizational initiatives. This position supports Accounting, Finance, Tax, Treasury and Internal and External audit.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of HFM 11.2.10 and Essbase.
• Maintain three HFM systems (PROD, CERT, TEST) in sync every month by adding new members to the different dimensions per Accounting request.
• Develop/Modify HFM rules as needed per accounting.
• Develop/Modify the FDMEE interfaces that load the data from SAP to HFM (via flat file).
• Perform metadata maintenance in DRM for HFM
• Provision/Deprovision users from the system as requested.
• Support Accounting and Finance during month end close
• Maintain several Essbase databases BSO and ASO on a monthly basis.
• Support Finance during Forecast, Planning and Multiyear Outlook.
• Provide support to all users for any Smart View questions they have.
• Attend to meetings with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Audit as needed.
• Support HFM/Essbase reporting via “Financial Reporting Studio”.
• Do audit related tasks on a monthly/quarterly basis to be SOX compliant.
• Provide reports to Internal/External Audit as needed.
• Provide reports to Tax after month end close.

Education

Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent is required. Understanding of Accounting and Finance basic concepts is required. MBA is a plus. Knowledge of perl is a plus.

Experience

5+ years of experience in HFM/FDMEE/HFM Calculator Manager/Essbase/Smartview/DRM. Knowledge of Windows server 2012. Knowledge of Maxl scripts. Knowledge of Financial Reporting Studio. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
