Job summary

Veradigm India Private Limited - Pune is seeking a backend developer to design, build, and maintain robust backend applications and data workflows. You will perform data migrations, optimize SQL Server queries, and ensure data integrity across systems.

The role requires 4–7 years of relevant experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with Windows permissions. Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Snowflake, AWS, Python, and SSRS is a plus; experience with GitHub and CI/CD is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 4–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL and Windows file permissions.
• Experience writing and optimizing SQL; familiarity with PostgreSQL/Snowflake is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and modern SDLC practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs, builds, and maintains backend applications, workflows, and reports using data from Veradigm Practice Management Updates.
• Performs data migrations and conversions between systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Writes and optimizes Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support applications and reporting.
• Configures and manages Windows file permissions to ensure secure, appropriate access to data and applications.
• Produces and executes unit test cases as defined by the team.
• Maintains coding standards.
• Produces supporting technical and installation documentation for internal and external publication.
• Achieves productivity targets to ensure deliverables are met on schedule and meet defined quality standards.
• Completes all necessary software and non-software components within the timelines defined by the Scrum Team/Project Manager.
• Produces technical specifications, code, and/or unit test plans aligned with traceability matrix/functional specification.
