Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications in the Java ecosystem. You will work on JVM internals, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires strong backend expertise, experience with Spring Boot/Spring Framework, and familiarity with front-end integration (JavaScript/jQuery; React is a bonus).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of JVM architecture, garbage collection, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Spring Security, authentication/authorization flows.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery; basic understanding of React is a bonus.
• Familiar with caching frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, SonarQube, Ansible.
• Solid understanding of Git, branching, and version control best practices.
• Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases.
