Job summary

Qualifications

• Essentially, we need a developer with good experience in Java, Python or TypeScript.
• Containers and Kubernetes experience – Must have.
• EKS/Rancher – Must Have.
• Flux / GitOps – Nice to have.
• Micro Services architecture knowledge is a must have.
• Messaging using Solace or Pulsar or any other middleware.
• Service Discovery - nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Develop across Java, Python, or TypeScript as part of polyglot workloads.
• Work with containers and Kubernetes to deploy and maintain services.
• Utilize EKS and Rancher environments for platform operations.
• Incorporate Flux/GitOps practices where applicable.
• Design and implement microservices architecture across domains.
• Leverage messaging systems like Solace or Pulsar for inter-service communication.
• Support service discovery across multiple BUs.

Programming Language:

• .NET is nice to have but not mandatory
• Containers and Kubernetes experience – Must have
• EKS/ Rancher – Must Have
• Flux / GitOps – Nice to have
• Micro Services architecture knowledge is a must have

• Service Discovery - nice to have

• Communication as they will be speaking with team’s throughout multiple BUs
• Flexibility to move from task to task and absorb complexities with the multitude of systems we have
• Ability to drive a task without upwards delegation

Experience :

• Worked on various projects (IE not one system for ages)
• Worked in various languages (basically a polyglot programmer)
