Job summary

Hershey in Pune, India is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a unique opportunity to shape Hershey’s digital future, with projects spanning supply chain, marketing, and consumer insights.

You’ll work on Front-End and Back-End development using React, TypeScript, Node.js, and NestJS, exposing you to Azure and GitLab CI/CD pipelines. Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross‑functional teams are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years in software development with strong full‑stack skills.
• Frontend technologies include React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with unit, integration, and functional testing.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Front-End Development: Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using React, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks.
• Back-End Development: Develop APIs and services using Node.js and NestJS; integrate with internal systems and third‑party APIs.
• Quality & Delivery: Write clean, maintainable code with tests; participate in code reviews and CI/CD pipelines with Azure and GitLab.
• Collaboration: Work with cross‑functional teams to understand business needs and mentor junior engineers; participate in technical interviews.
