OpenText, The Information Company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Hyderabad to design, develop, and sustain Viewing products. This role requires hands-on C++/Win32 development, a deep understanding of data structures, and the ability to own end-to-end software lifecycle.

• Expertise in C++, COM, ATL, Win32, and MFC.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of REST or SOAP web services is desirable.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.

Your Impact

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will apply your technical expertise to complex product design, systems analysis, development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming activities across various systems and devices. You will play a key role in driving future technology implementations and delivering high-quality Viewing products.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of enterprise product development experience.
• Expertise in C++, COM, ATL, Win32, and MFC.
• Strong hands‑on software development experience using C++ and C.
• Sound knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and loosely coupled design.
• Experience writing high-performance and reusable code modules.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience developing and supporting enterprise applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of Generative AI concepts with hands‑on proficiency in AI‑assisted coding tools.
• Good communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
• Knowledge of REST or SOAP web services is desirable.
• Experience with server internals, including multithreading, process models, memory management, scheduling, clustering, and load balancing, is strongly preferred.
