Job summary

Lumen Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled .NET Developer to design, develop, and operate customer financial systems on Microsoft .NET and Azure. You will work in a globally distributed team in India and the United States, delivering cloud-native applications and AI-enabled workflows.

You will design RESTful APIs, migrate legacy apps, and ensure robust production support while adhering to security and compliance standards in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering.
• 5+ years hands-on software development with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core Web API, EF Core, and LINQ.
• Solid cloud-native development with Microsoft Azure services.
• Strong SQL Server skills: T-SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• GitHub Actions CI/CD; version control with Git.
• Security practices: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure AD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable applications using C#, .NET / .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices integrating with internal financial systems and third-party platforms.
• Develop cloud solutions on Azure (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, Key Vault).
• Design and optimize MS SQL Server databases with schemas, procedures, functions, views.
• Migrate legacy .NET Framework apps to .NET Core / .NET 8+ and cloud-native designs.
• Provide production support: troubleshoot incidents, root cause analysis, fixes within SLAs.
• Write clean, well-documented code following SOLID and design patterns; write tests.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and manage code in GitHub.
• Collaborate with US-based stakeholders in Agile/Scrum; use Jira.
• Follow security, compliance, and data privacy standards.
• Contribute to AI-enabled workflows as the AI roadmap develops.
