Job summary

Infosys is seeking an experienced SAP BW/BW4HANA consultant to assess landscapes, analyze BW objects, and manage data loads across multiple environments. Strong focus on HANA modeling, Calculation Views, and native HANA integration.

The role requires expertise in SAP BO and BW reporting architecture, as well as validation across FUT, SIT, and UAT, with integration testing involving SFTP, APIs and middleware tools. Bachelor of Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required.
• Experience with SAP BW, BW/4HANA, HANA and SAP BO/BPC preferred.
• Strong debugging, validation and testing skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory of BW objects: ADSOs, CompositeProviders, Open Hub Destinations, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains, Queries, InfoObjects.
• Execute and monitor data loads; trigger delta chains; ensure data quality.
• Conduct validation across FUT, SIT, UAT environments; reconcile data.
• Support integration validation with SFTP, APIs and middleware.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, testing and business teams.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP BW / BW4HANA Consultant with strong expertise in SAP BW, BW/4HANA, HANA, SAP BO, and BPC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for landscape assessment, BW object analysis, data load execution, validation, reconciliation, and integration testing across multiple environments.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing SAP BW, BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP BO, and integration landscapes.
• Perform inventory assessment of BW objects, including:
  • ADSOs
  • CompositeProviders
  • Open Hub Destinations
  • Transformations
  • Data Transfer Processes (DTPs)
  • Process Chains
  • Queries
  • InfoObjects
• Execute and monitor data loads and trigger delta process chains as required.
• Perform comprehensive BW validation activities across FUT, SIT, and UAT environments.
• Conduct data reconciliation and report validation between source and target systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Support integration validation involving SFTP, APIs, middleware tools, and other connected systems.
• Work with SAP HANA Modeling, including Calculation Views and Native HANA integrations.
• Support and validate SAP BO reporting and BW reporting architecture.
• Work with SAP BPC and related planning/reporting processes.
• Identify and troubleshoot data discrepancies, load failures, integration issues, and reporting inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with functional, technical, testing, and business teams throughout validation and implementation activities.

• Experience with SAP HANA Modeling and Calculation Views.
• Knowledge of Native SAP HANA integration.
• Good understanding of SAP BusinessObjects (BO) and BW reporting architecture.
• Experience with SAP BPC.
• Experience in data reconciliation, report validation, and end-to-end testing.
• Knowledge of integration technologies such as SFTP, APIs, and middleware tools.
• Experience supporting FUT, SIT, and UAT phases.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
