Job summary

SoftwareOne is seeking a Senior SAP Basis Consultant in Pune, India, to own complex SAP landscapes across enterprise clients. You will lead migrations, upgrades, and transformations, combining SAP Basis with cloud, database, and infrastructure expertise.

You will guide L1/L2 engineers, shape HA/DR designs across S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, and SAP Cloud ALM, and drive delivery to Azure, AWS, and GCP. Hybrid work arrangement with visa in India applies.

Qualifications

• Experience administering SAP platforms (S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM)
• Expertise with SAP HANA administration, HANA System Replication, backup/recovery, performance tuning
• Experience managing Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, SAP ASE, IBM DB2, MaxDB environments
• Hands-on knowledge of SUM/DMO, system copies, OS/DB migrations, Unicode conversions, S/4HANA technical conversions
• Experience operating SAP workloads on Azure, AWS, or GCP
• Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, clustering technologies, cloud backup strategies, and incident management processes

• Own end-to-end delivery activities including sizing, planning, cutover coordination, and operational transition
• Drive SAP migrations to Azure, AWS, and GCP using appropriate migration and conversion approaches
• Design, implement, and validate high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP workloads
• Manage and optimize SAP ecosystems including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, PI/PO, and BusinessObjects
• Guide L1/L2 engineers, support customer engagements, and contribute technical expertise to presales activities
