Job summary

PwC Mumbai is seeking a Senior Associate for SAP BASIS administration to oversee ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, PI/PO, and Solution Manager environments. You will install, configure, monitor, and patch SAP systems, ensuring performance and compliance across production and non-production landscapes.

Ideal candidates have 4–7 years of SAP experience, strong knowledge of SAP BASIS and migration projects, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams during go-live and hypercare phases.

Qualifications

• SAP BASIS and S/4HANA expertise is required.
• 4-7 years of SAP experience.
• Experience with SAP migrations and OS/DB upgrades is preferred.

Responsibilities

• SAP BASIS installation, configuration, and maintenance for ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, PI/PO, and Solution Manager.
• AMS support: day-to-day SAP system support in prod and non-prod environments.
• Participate in SAP system installations, landscape design, and cutover activities.
• Ensure security, compliance, backups, and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

• SAP BASIS Administration Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, PI/PO, Solution Manager) Perform system copies, client administration, and transport management Monitor system performance and conduct regular health checks Apply patches, support packages, and kernel upgrades
• AMS Support Provide day-to-day support for SAP systems in production and non-production environments Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP BASIS Coordinate with functional and technical teams for issue resolution Ensure system availability and performance SLAs are met
• Implementation & Migration Participate in SAP system installations and landscape design Support SAP upgrades and migrations (OS/DB, HANA, cloud) Assist in planning and executing cutover activities Collaborate with project teams during go-live and hypercare phases
• Security & Compliance Manage user roles, authorizations, and profiles Ensure compliance with IT security policies and audit requirements Implement and monitor backup and disaster recovery procedures
