Job summary

Genesys is seeking an experienced Enterprise Applications Developer to design and enhance Salesforce applications within our Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. You will own technical deliverables, implement Apex, SOQL, Flows, and LWC, and integrate Salesforce with Zuora, Workday, and ServiceNow as part of a fast-paced cross-functional team.

You will partner with leads, analysts, QA, and other developers to ensure scalable, well-tested solutions, while following security guidelines and release processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Salesforce development or enterprise app development.
• Hands-on Apex, SOQL, Flows, validation rules, and custom objects.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Understanding of Salesforce data model, security, profiles, and role hierarchy.

Role Overview

Genesys is seeking an experienced and motivated Enterprise Applications Developer to design, develop, configure, and enhance Salesforce applications within our Quote-to-Cash ecosystem. This role will contribute to Salesforce solutions that support quoting, order management, product configuration, asset management, and integrations with downstream billing and revenue systems. As part of the Enterprise Applications team, you will work closely with Technical Leads, Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, QA, and other developers to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-tested Salesforce capabilities. This is a hands‑on development role suited for someone with strong Salesforce development experience who can independently own technical deliverables, contribute to solution design, and drive issues through resolution. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, ownership and accountability, analytical problem‑solving skills, curiosity, willingness to continuously learn, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, configure, and support scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, validation rules, custom objects, and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Take end‑to‑end ownership of assigned technical deliverables and be accountable for quality, maintainability, and timely delivery. Translate business requirements and user stories into technical designs, development tasks, configuration changes, and high‑quality solutions. Contribute to technical solution design and recommend appropriate Salesforce platform approaches based on business and technical requirements. Develop and enhance Salesforce capabilities related to Quote‑to‑Cash, quoting, order management, assets, renewals, and related business processes. Develop and support solutions leveraging Agentforce Revenue Management (formerly Salesforce Revenue Cloud) capabilities within the Quote‑to‑Cash ecosystem. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, defect resolution, release validation, and deployment activities to ensure the quality and reliability of delivered solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve complex Salesforce issues, including configuration defects, data issues, flow errors, permission issues, performance concerns, and integration‑related errors. Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and downstream systems such as Zuora, Workday, ServiceNow, and middleware platforms. Maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, configuration notes, data mappings, integration details, and deployment steps. Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, QA, Technical Leads, and other engineering teams throughout the software delivery lifecycle. Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and contribute to peer reviews and knowledge‑sharing activities. Follow and promote established development standards, Salesforce best practices, release processes, change controls, and security guidelines. Demonstrate curiosity and a continuous learning mindset by building Salesforce platform expertise and identifying opportunities to improve system quality, scalability, maintainability, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Salesforce development, configuration, or enterprise application development. Strong hands‑on development experience with Apex, SOQL, Salesforce Flows, validation rules, custom objects, and Salesforce configuration. Hands‑on experience developing solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC). Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, and platform capabilities. Experience translating business requirements into technical designs and independently delivering Salesforce solutions. Experience working within a structured software development lifecycle, including requirements review, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues using debug logs, error messages, data analysis, and systematic root‑cause analysis. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail, curiosity, and willingness to investigate issues thoroughly. Demonstrated ownership and accountability for technical deliverables and issue resolution. Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams, including Product Owners, Business Systems Analysts, QA, Technical Leads, and other developers. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and document solutions effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agentforce Revenue Management (formerly Salesforce Revenue Cloud), Salesforce CPQ, or other Quote‑to‑Cash solutions. Experience designing and developing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, asynchronous Apex, platform events, or other Salesforce integration patterns. Exposure to Zuora Billing, Workday, ServiceNow, or other enterprise SaaS platforms. Experience using GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools, and version control practices. Salesforce certification such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, Administrator, or App Builder is a plus. Experience working in Agile delivery teams with Jira, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and defect management. Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior developers.
