Responsibilities:
- Focus on building new business, increasing customer loyalty, and forging strong relationships with external clients.
- Accountable for managing & developing Key accounts for the company.
- Collaborate with the sales team to provide pricing data, assist in preparing quotations, and respond to business opportunities by efficiently coordinating deals & helping the sales team to win deals.
- Accountable to support the sales team with liaising between multiple departments.
- Visit client location as & when required along with operation and sales team to present company solution to the client.
- Defining, compiling & analyzing agreed KPI information to ensure optimal efficiency & performance.
- Reviewing & monitoring internal processes to ensure optimum efficiencies.
- Ensuring that operational plans are developed and implemented in line with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and customer support to ensure successful logistics operations.
Preferred candidate profile:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field.
- Proven success in sales with a strong ability to develop new business and nurture existing relationships.
- In-depth knowledge of export logistics and a strong understanding of the NVOCC role.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Strong closing skills and assertiveness in sales.
- Experience working with CRM systems to manage and track sales activities.
- Knowledge of sea freight operations is a plus.
