Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) is seeking a design engineer to join our team. You will contribute to design and integration for IPs, subsystems, and SoCs, while driving quality through QC checks and timing closure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electronics/VLSI/ASIC design.

Responsibilities

• Develop/maintain design and integration for in-house/vendor IPs, subsystems and SoC.
• Ensure IP/Subsystem/SoC quality via static QC checks (LINT, CDC, RDC, CLP/VCLP).
• Develop/own constraints like SDC, UPF, etc.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for timing closure and verification robustness.

THE ROLE:

We are looking for an adaptive, self-motivated design engineer to join our growing team. As a key contributor, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMD's abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry-leading technologies to market. The Design Engineering team furthers and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.

THE PERSON:

You have a passion for modern, complex architecture, digital design, and verification in general. You are a team player who has excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with other engineers located in different sites/time zones. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and are willing to learn and ready to take on problems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop/Maintain design and integration for various in-house/vendor IPs, subsystems and SoC.
• Ensure quality of the IP/Subsystem/SoC through various static QCs viz LINT, CDC, RDC, CLP/VCLP.
• Develop/Own various constraints like SDC, UPF, etc,
• Interact with various stakeholders to ensure timing closure and verification robustness of your design.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• Familiarity with RTL coding and various industry standard protocols like PCie, AMBA etc.
• Familiarity with various QC tools/flows and IPXACT.
• Strong fundamentals of VLSI, FIFO, arbitration techniques etc.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics/VLSI/computer engineering/Electrical Engineering with 5+Yrs of exp
