Job summary

Embark Services Private Limited in Thiruvananthapuram is seeking a Sr Project Manager to own multiple enterprise software delivery programs in banking and financial services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 12-16 years of experience in Software Project Management, with significant experience managing enterprise software implementation or product development projects.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional, and customer-facing software delivery programs.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, project governance, estimation techniques, and release management.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, MS Project, or similar platforms.
• Strong expertise in risk management, scope management, budgeting, resource planning, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent client-facing, leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing distributed and global delivery teams within fast-paced Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple enterprise software implementation and product development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations.
• Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, risk and issue management, change control, release planning, and stakeholder communications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients, Product Management, Engineering, QA, Architecture, and Delivery teams to drive successful project execution, resolve delivery challenges, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor project health through governance reviews, delivery metrics, financial tracking, and status reporting while proactively mitigating delivery risks and ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Mentor project teams, promote delivery excellence, continuous improvement, and Agile best practices while fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
