Job summary

Extreme Networks in Bengaluru is seeking a Salesforce platform expert to design, develop, and integrate AI-powered solutions using Agentforce, Einstein, Data Cloud, and external LLM platforms while ensuring security, scalability, and business value.

You will create custom Salesforce applications, participate in the full SDLC, integrate with REST APIs, maintain existing apps, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business value. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, CS or related field.
• 4–7 years of demonstrable software development experience.
• Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration including Lightning, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud.
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and Salesforce development technologies.
• Understanding of Salesforce data model with standard and custom objects.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce Lightning Framework, Salesforce Service Cloud, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development technologies.
• Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Salesforce certifications, like Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, or Administrator.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
• Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
