We partner closely with HR, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Business Operations to bring data-driven, compliant, and innovative solutions to life.
Reporting to the Director of People Technology, this role will serve as a Delivery Lead and Principal Product Analyst for Okta's People Technology portfolio, focused on the Growth & Talent pod. In this broad role, you will lead complex, multi-system initiatives spanning Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance, Learning, and Career Development. You will serve as the crucial conduit between Product Management, Recruiting/Talent Acquisition leadership, Talent Management, and People Operations, driving technical execution against a prioritized backlog to align with Okta's strategic workforce goals.
Technically scope and lead the delivery of multi-quarter, high-visibility, executive-sponsored projects across the Growth & Talent ecosystem (e.g., Greenhouse ATS integration & workflows, Cornerstone L&D platform optimization, and Workday Talent & Performance solutions).
Serve as the functional specialist and delivery lead for the Growth & Talent pod, specializing in talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, succession planning, learning management, and career development technology integrations.
Partner with enterprise architects and delivery engineers to drive seamless end-to-end integrations across Greenhouse (Applicant Tracking System), Cornerstone (Learning & Experience Platform), and Workday (Talent, Performance, Skills, and Core HCM).
Drive delivery against a prioritized backlog for aligned Talent Acquisition and Talent Management stakeholder groups, ensuring successful project execution from start to finish.
Operate actively in a Scrum framework—breaking down complex epics and business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable technical tasks while participating in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
Utilize functional and technical talent domain expertise to identify opportunities to optimize, automate, and innovate recruitment workflows, employee learning paths, and internal mobility through modern technology and AI capabilities.
Proactively identify and resolve project-level risks, cross-system integration blockers, and requirement trade-offs with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.
Guide project teams through uncertainty, facilitate technical scoping workshops, and provide mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
Act as the primary conduit between Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and technical delivery teams, owning and writing detailed functional requirements, business process flows, data mappings, and use cases.
10+ years of related experience in a professional People Technology / HRIS role with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
Deep functional and technical knowledge of core Growth & Talent platforms, specifically Greenhouse (ATS), Cornerstone (LMS/L&D), and Workday Talent & Performance (Succession, Performance Reviews, Goals, Feedback, Skills).
Proven track record as a Delivery Lead managing complex, multi-system HR technology initiatives, integrations, and feature rollouts.
Ability to handle complex issues spanning multiple applications, data structures, and HR processes, requiring analysis of diverse data factors.
Exceptional collaboration skills to build strong relationships with key stakeholders across Recruiting, HR Ops, and Talent Development, managing conflicting perspectives and reaching consensus.
Strategic mindset to anticipate future talent technology architecture needs, internal mobility initiatives, and proactive system optimizations.
Strong leadership qualities to guide agile delivery pods, facilitate requirements workshops, and mentor team members.
Experience implementing AI/Automation use cases within HR tech (e.g., candidate matching, skill taxonomy mapping, automated learning pathways); relevant industry certifications (Workday Talent/Performance certifications, Agile/Scrum certification).
