Siemens is seeking a seasoned Finance & Real Estate accounting professional to lead financial analysis, monthly closing, and forecasting for SRE locations in Mumbai. The role involves ensuring accurate reporting, monitoring profitability and cash flow, and supporting project cost tracking and lease accounting under IFRS16.

The ideal candidate holds CA/finance qualifications with 8–10 years of experience, excellent English, and strong Excel and SAP skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis for SRE locations and ensure accurate reporting.
• Perform monthly closing controlling activities for SRE.
• Monitor profitability, cash flow, and forecast accuracy with variance commentary.
• Support project cost tracking, contracts status, and close-out activities.
• Evaluate IFRS16 impact on balance sheet and P&L; assist lease negotiations.

You’ll Make a Difference By

• Conduct financial analysis for SRE locations, based on SRE business structure and SRE KPIs, and ensure correct financial reporting
• Perform controlling activities during monthly closing for SRE
• Monitoring the profitability/NCE/Cashflow balances to ensure proper forecast reporting
• Support the creation and alignment of financial forecast, monitoring and analyze the monthly business development and ensure accuracy of local financial figures, prepare variance commentary monthly to budget and/ or forecast
• Provide finance support to project teams, including project cost tracking, project analysis, status of contracts, open commitments and project close out
• Assist with the preparation of internal lease agreements and ensure that the calculated prices for net rent, operating expenses and services cover the costs
• Support the preparation of new external lease contracts and evaluate the respective IFRS16 impact on balance sheet, cash and profit & loss
• Keep abreast of changes in external accounting guidelines and foster the adoption of real estate’s accounting principles.

Your success is grounded

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Chartered accountant Accounting, Finance or related fields minimum 8-10 years of experience
• Advanced English
• Solid knowledge on Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
• SAP knowledge is a big plus
• Ability to communicate with Business heads, PC controllers and review
• Cognitive flexibility & resilience
• Ability to work effectively both individually and within a team
