We are looking for a skilled Java engineer to join our Frameworks team in Bangalore. The role focuses on building and maintaining Raptor.io, eBay’s Spring Boot-based Java Developer Platform, serving internal developers across eBay.

What You'll Be Doing

• Platform Development & Maintenance: Build, maintain, and improve our Spring Boot framework, ensuring it is robust and scalable for thousands of internal applications.
• AI Powered Tooling: Identify problems and develop AI powered solutions to platform engineering challenges.
• Build & Deployment Automation: Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Tekton to ensure fast, reliable, and automated software builds and deployments.
• Release Management: Coordinate software releases across multiple teams, managing dependencies and aligning with the product roadmap.
• Docker & Containerization: Build and maintain optimized Docker images, run automated vulnerability scans, and manage our image repositories and registries.
• Infrastructure Management: Set up and maintain development, staging, and production environments, and monitor system performance to ensure stability.
• Security & Compliance: Ensure platform security by regularly patching images, handling sensitive data properly, and maintaining audit logs.
• Documentation & Collaboration: Create documentation, best practices, and guides for developers while collaborating with QA and operations teams.
