Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance testing or engineering roles.
• Strong expertise in load, stress, spike, endurance, scalability, and capacity testing.
• Hands-on NeoLoad is mandatory; familiarity with other tools is required.

Position: Senior Performance Test Engineer

Experience: 5+Yrs

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Performance Test Engineer with strong expertise in Performance Engineering, Performance Testing, and programming. The ideal candidate should have an engineering-oriented development background and be capable of independently driving performance testing, deep-dive analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization across complex enterprise applications.

Key Skills & Responsibilities

• Strong expertise in Performance Engineering covering Load, Stress, Spike, Endurance, Scalability, and Capacity Testing.
• Mandatory hands-on experience with NeoLoad.
• Experience with other performance testing tools such as JMeter / LoadRunner / k6.
• Experience with workload modelling and performance strategy.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, distributed applications, and application architecture.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and database performance analysis.
• Strong experience with APM & Observability tools such as Dynatrace, Datadog, AppDynamics, Azure Application Insights, Grafana, or Splunk.
• Experience with AWS / Azure and cloud-based performance engineering.
• Experience integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar tools.
• Understanding of Docker / Kubernetes environments.
• Strong experience in JVM performance analysis, including GC, Heap, and Thread analysis.
• Expertise in performance bottleneck identification, deep-dive RCA, troubleshooting, and performance optimization recommendations.
• Experience in application and infrastructure performance analysis.
• Ability to interact with customers/stakeholders, present performance findings, and drive technical discussions.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior performance engineers.
• Experience developing performance utilities, frameworks, or accelerators is preferred.
• Practical experience using AI/LLMs for engineering, coding, scripting, automation, debugging, or performance-analysis use cases is preferred.
