Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking a PeopleSoft Techno-Functional consultant with 10+ years of experience to lead upgrade efforts and provide functional and technical support across HCM modules. The role blends business analysis with PeopleTools development and integration work.

The candidate will collaborate with business users and technical teams to design solutions, perform impact analysis, and support UAT and production issues. A strong communication skillset and client-facing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands on PeopleSoft Techno Functional experience at least worked in one full Cycle of PeopleSoft/PeopleTools upgrade project.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical designs
• Provide functional support for PeopleSoft modules such as: HCM (Core HR, ESS, MSS, Absence Management, ELM)
• Perform fit gap analysis, impact analysis, and solution design
• To be able to understand
• Functional Design Documents (FDD)
• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Specifications (FS)
• Support UAT, defect resolution, and production issue analysis
• Work on PeopleSoft Applications using: PeopleCode / PeopleTools, Application Engine (AE), Component Interfaces (CI)
• File Layouts
• Integration Broker ( REST / SOAP APIs , webservices)
• Reporting: SQR, XML Publisher / BI Publisher, PS Query
• Ability to Run compare reports to migrate projects from source to target environment
• Provide Impact Analysis, based on changes to be performed on PeopleSoft objects.
• Proficiency in PeopleCode, SQR, AE, CI, Integration Broker (REST/SOAP APIs), webservices.
• Experience in upgrade support and production support environments
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Client facing experience preferred
• Willingness to provide production support when required.

Job Description

We are seeking a PeopleSoft Techno Functional Consultant with 10+ years of experience, who is worked in at least one full cycle of PeopleSoft/PeopleTool upgrade support project. The ideal candidate will have a strong balance of functional knowledge and technical development skills, and the ability to work closely with business users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities
