Qualifications

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Techno-Functional OTM Developer with 4+ years of experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) and exposure to Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM). This role blends functional expertise in transportation, logistics, and fleet operations with hands‑on technical configuration, reporting, and integration development.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OTM fundamentals (agents, workbenches, configurations), fleet management capabilities, experience building BI Publisher reports (RTF + XML), and integrating OTM with external systems using REST APIs and structured payloads.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate transportation, logistics, and fleet management requirements into OTM solutions

Configure and support end-to-end processes including:

• Order management, shipment planning, tendering, execution, and visibility
• Rating, itineraries, carriers, and locations
• Fleet management (internal fleet operations, driver assignments, equipment utilization, capacity planning)
• Provide functional expertise across transportation execution and fleet operations workflows
• Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement

Technical Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and enhance OTM modules and components, including:
• Agents (automation agents, action checks)
• Workbenches and dashboards
• Screen sets and manager layouts
• Saved queries, roles, and menus
• Configure and support fleet-related OTM objects, including:
• Equipment types, resources, driver profiles, and asset utilization tracking
• Develop and maintain BI Publisher reports:
• RTF templates with XML tags
• Operational, shipment, and fleet-related reporting outputs

Design and support OTM integrations, including:

• REST APIs
• OTM XML transmissions and payload structures
• File-based/MFT integrations (Globalscape or similar)
• Analyze and map external payloads (JSON/XML) to OTM and GTM objects
• Troubleshoot issues across configurations, integrations, fleet processes, APIs, and reporting
• Support testing, deployments, and environment promotions

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of hands‑on experience in Oracle Transportation Management (OTM)
• Strong knowledge of OTM techno-functional capabilities, including:
• Agents, workbenches, screen sets, manager layouts
• Saved queries, roles, and automation frameworks
• Experience supporting transportation execution and fleet management processes
• Proven experience with OTM configuration and business process optimization
• Hands‑on experience with BI Publisher (RTF templates + XML tags)
• Experience with REST APIs and system integrations, including:
• JSON/XML payload handling and mapping
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders
• Exposure to Oracle GTM

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with OTM fleet optimization, routing, and asset utilization
• Experience with OTM/GTM integrations and XML schemas
• Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI
• Knowledge of event‑driven architecture or middleware (MuleSoft, etc.)
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet‑heavy environments (private fleet, dispatch, milk runs, etc.)
