Qualifications

• BE/BTech in relevant engineering fields preferred.
• MBA/PGDM in SCM/Operations/Materials Mgmt added advantage.
• 4-10 years of techno-commercial procurement experience.
• Experience in Power/Energy/Manufacturing/Infrastructure/Heavy industry preferred.
• Exposure to SAP/ERP procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Sourcing: Identify and source vendors for materials, equipment, spares, consumables, and services.
• Procurement Sourcing: Float RFQs/RFPs and obtain competitive quotations from approved suppliers.
• Procurement Sourcing: Conduct market research to identify cost-effective procurement opportunities.
• Procurement Sourcing: Develop and maintain a robust vendor database.
• Techno-Commercial Evaluation: Coordinate with technical stakeholders for specification finalization.
• Techno-Commercial Evaluation: Perform technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Techno-Commercial Evaluation: Prepare comparative statements and recommendation notes.
• Techno-Commercial Evaluation: Analyze vendor proposals considering quality, delivery schedules, compliance, and commercial terms.
• Negotiation Contracting: Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranty clauses, and contractual conditions.
• Negotiation Contracting: Finalize purchase orders and service contracts.
• Negotiation Contracting: Ensure procurement achieves targeted cost savings and commercial benefits.
• Vendor Management: Monitor vendor performance related to quality, delivery, and service.
• Vendor Management: Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers.

• MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Materials Management will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 4-10 years of experience in techno-commercial procurement.
• Experience in Power Plant, Energy, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, or Heavy Industry preferred.
• Exposure to SAP/ERP-based procurement processes.
