Job summary

Sone India is seeking an MEP Engineer to review plans and specifications and to oversee the on-site execution of mechanical, electrical and plumbing works. The role involves coordinating with architects and engineers, preparing detailed layouts, load calculations and BoQs for HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems.

Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office and project management software, with the ability to provide technical guidance to staff and contractors, ensuring

Qualifications

• Reviews plans and specifications according to the plan.
• Oversees subordinate staff and coordinates with architects or engineers.
• Prepares detailed plans, specifications and cost estimates for plumbing, HVAC and general piping systems.
• Provides technical advice to staff, designers, supervisors and contractors on installation and maintenance of MEP systems.
• Analyzes mechanical, electrical and plumbing problems and formulates solutions.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Oversee execution and coordination of MEP work onsite.
• Prepare layout drawings and load calculations for electrical, lighting and power systems.
• Develop BoQ and material estimates for MEP works.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants and contractors to resolve design issues.

General Roles and Responsibilities

• MEP engineer has to review plans and specification according to plan.


• MEP Engineer has to manage to oversee the work of subordinate staff contact architects or Engineer.


• MEP Engineer has to prepare plans, details, specified and cost estimated of plumbing, heating, ventilating, air conditioning and general piping system.


• MEP Engineer has to provide technical advice to staff designer, supervisor, inspector and contracting service provider, regarding installation and maintenance of MEP System.


• MEP System has to analyse mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing engineering problems and formulate solutions.


• MEP Engineer has to identify problems in design, plan, manage and deliver multiple projects.


• MEP Engineer has to plan, organize the review and evaluate the work of consultant, contractor, and others. MEP Engineer has to knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and Project management software.


• Advise the Project Director of any technical aspects of the mechanical services that may affect construction progress, e.g. quality or snag.


• Continually review the contractor's schedule during the progress of site works with regards to MEP services and report to the Project in charge
