Job summary

Pacific Group is seeking a dynamic Manager / Senior Manager Lead in Hyderabad to oversee complex US individual and business tax returns and international filings. You will lead a tax team, ensuring high-quality work and timely delivery while staying current with changing regulations.

Expect 6+ years of progressive tax experience with at least 2 years in supervision; EA preferred, CPA or other certifications will be considered.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US tax laws (individual and business) and IRS/state taxation.
• Enrolled Agent (EA) preferred; CPA or other tax certifications will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee preparation and review of individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041).
• Coordinate workload distribution and ensure timely completion while complying with tax laws.
• Serve as primary contact for escalated client issues and complex tax matters, including international filings (1120F, 5471, 5472, 8865).
• Assist in development and implementation of tax strategies to benefit clients.

This role involves overseeing the preparation and review of complex tax returns while managing a team of tax professionals. Your leadership will ensure the highest quality of tax services and foster a collaborative team environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
• Oversee the preparation and review of individual (Form 1040) and business tax returns (Forms 1120, 1120S, 1065, 1041).
• Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, ensuring their development and performance.
• Coordinate workload distribution, ensuring timely completion of tasks and compliance with tax laws.
• Serve as the primary contact for escalated client issues and complex tax matters, including international tax filings (Forms 1120F, 5471, 5472, 8865).
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax strategies to benefit clients.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws and ensure the team is informed and compliant.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead/Managers to set departmental goals and objectives.
• Assist in recruitment, training, and evaluation of tax staff.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive tax experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Extensive experience with individual and business tax forms, including international tax components.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in tax software and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
