Charles Schwab India in Hyderabad seeks a Software Development & Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams in building and modernizing retirement-related software solutions. You will guide architecture, API design, and delivery across Microsoft stack, with emphasis on security, performance, and reliability.

The role requires strong leadership, deep hands-on experience in .NET and Angular, and expertise in CI/CD, API ecosystems, and security frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a manager leading engineering teams.
• 10+ years of hands on software development in Microsoft stack (.NET).
• 5+ years as a Technical Lead.
• 3+ years UI development with Angular, CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, TypeScript.
• API design with micro-services focusing on availability, security and performance.
• Knowledge of OAuth 2, SAML, JWT.
• CI/CD experience using Bamboo, Bitbucket/Git, Jenkins.
• Experience RESTful Web APIs in .NET or related tech.

Our team is seeking a Software Development & Engineering Manager with a passion for the retirement industry and a strong history of leading development teams. Our mission is to build, maintain, and modernize our robust set of solutions.

What you have

Required Qulaifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a manger leading engineering teams
• 10+ years of hands on experience in software development building enterprise software using Microsoft technology stack: .Net framework, .Net Core – C#.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Technical Lead
• 3+ years experience in UI Development using the Angular framework with CSS, JavaScript, HTML5, and TypeScript.
• Demonstrated experience in designing, creating, testing, and consuming APIs using micro-services architecture patterns with a focus on availability, security, and performance
• Knowledge of authorization frameworks (e.g., OAuth 2, SAML, JWT)
• Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment experience using modern tools (Bamboo, BitBucket/Git, Jenkins, or others)
• Experience developing RESTful Web APIs in Microsoft .NET or related technologies
• Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Domain Driven Design methodology
• Experience with State Management (NgRx) and RxJs
• Advanced knowledge of Splunk
• Experience working in the Retirement or Financial Services industries
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
