Job summary

Valeo Chennai is seeking a Sr. Manager - Projects to lead and deliver complex OEM/OES projects with a strong focus on profitability, quality and production readiness.

You will organize resources, drive cross-functional teams, manage scope, budget and milestones, and present decisive reviews to governance bodies. You will coordinate customer communications, escalate issues as needed, and champion Valeo's values and standards while ensuring safety and ethics across all project activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage operationally and functionally the Projects assigned to.
• Manage OEM/OES Projects (Component, System with known technology components).
• Achieve Project KPI in profitability, quality and production preparation.
• Secure and control project resources; drive P2 actors in case of P2 not completed in P1.
• Resolve issues via project escalation with relevant functions; validate team activities.
• Define and manage project scope, budget and milestones; prepare decision materials.
• Prepare and submit project level reviews (CAA and IAR) and challenge Launch Managers.
• Manage project changes and coordinate through the team; apply Design to Cost.
• Escalate gaps with speed; lead PTMs development and performance.
• Maintain customer communications; keep clients updated on progress; manage escalations.
• Promote Valeo values, culture and standards; ensure compliance with health, safety and ethics.
