Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership and mentoring in a technology-driven environment, with a strong focus within Supply Chain technology and Applications. This Sr Manager position for Supply Chain technology is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the end-to-end solution delivery and process design, serving as the primary interface with clients and leading a cross-functional team to achieve established goals. This person will be involved in recommending the most appropriate technology application for the client based on business requirements and transformation needs. The ideal candidate will have strong business analysis skills and a technical background in end-to-end software development lifecycle, proficiency in managing complex integration projects and ensuring compliance with privacy standards. The candidate should be a self-starter and have a strong passion for fostering innovation and excellence in the biotechnology industry. Additionally, collaboration with cross-functional and global teams is required to ensure seamless integration and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders within commercial and clinical supply chain operations and business leads to design, implement, and manage features.

• Define and communicate the product feature vision, including technical/architectural features, enablement, and end-user features, ensuring alignment with business objectives across multiple solution stakeholder groups.

• Create a strategic roadmap for product health and technology innovations to ensure applications align with business process requirements.

• Work with Product Owners, Service Owners and developers/testers to ensure delivery meets commitments, acting as an escalation point and facilitating communication when service commitments are not met.

• Ability to analyze supply chain operational data to identify opportunities and develop insights translating business requirements into clear fit-gap analysis and technology implementation strategies for business transformation.

• Leverage cutting-edge innovations in cloud technologies to achieve process efficiencies through automations using AI/ML and agentic AI chatbots.

• Oversee the software development lifecycle using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), fostering standard methodology sharing and alignment with business goals.

• Develop talent, motivate the team, delegate effectively, champion diversity within the team and act as a role model of servant leadership.

• Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams, including those in the US and international locations.

• Lead and manage large teams with varied strengths within a matrixed organization, coordinating with global teams.

Basic Qualifications and Experience

• 12 to 17 years of experience in Supply Chain Technology, Supply Chain Business, Engineering, IT or related field.

Functional Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Strong functional expertise and in-depth knowledge of supply chain planning applications covering Demand and Supply planning, S&OP, Inventory Optimization, Capacity and constraints, MPS, and rough-cut capacity planning.

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning Solutions such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and 5+ years in Kinaxis RapidResponse and/or Anaplan systems.

• Prior implementation experience in end-to-end supply chain planning solutions using Kinaxis RapidResponse or similar advanced planning applications like SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, OMP, and o9 is desired.

• Facilitating business process design, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and ability to design technical solutions leveraging Maestro (RapidResponse) capabilities.

• Provides architecture guidance on individual system designs; designs and implements solutions to support supply chain planning functionalities using Kinaxis RapidResponse.

• Develop and maintain system architecture models (e.g., System Interaction diagrams) and reference implementations within systems of record.

• Design and deploy technologies such as advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning to advance supply chain objectives (e.g., inventory optimization, S&OP simplification, MPS with capacity constraints) and identify continuous process improvements.

• Translate the enterprise’s information-sharing aspirations into detailed actions in the supply chain, quality, and IS organizations, including data modeling, data quality, data management strategy, data access methods, and experiences in data access systems for the pharmaceutical industry.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Health Cloud and Lifesciences Cloud hands-on experience.

• Working knowledge of integrations using APIs or third-party integration software like Talend, MuleSoft, Data Lake and Data Fabrics.

• Extensive experience in software development lifecycle.

• Experience using and adopting Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
