What a Senior Manager, BPO – INSA does at Visa:
This role supports the INSA Head of Strategy and Transformation in delivering market and regional priorities. Based in Mumbai, it offers a strategic overview of Visa’s business across INSA markets and involves collaboration with cross‑functional teams to drive business priorities, especially in interchange programs.
Specific Responsibilities
- Drive deeper engagement on strategic priorities across markets and cluster to ensure success of key business areas.
- Support the development, program management, and execution of business‑critical initiatives at the market/cluster level.
- Become an interchange implementation subject‑matter expert with deep knowledge of Visa and industry context.
- Collaborate across the AP Interchange team and functions across markets to support strategic plans leveraging interchange in line with corporate priorities.
- Develop and create frameworks for new cluster initiatives, articulate context/objectives, build operational/process flows, ensure stakeholder alignment, and execute effectively.
What Will Also Help
- Subject‑matter expertise in card payments, payment technologies, loyalty services gained through experience supporting clients and new product initiatives.
- Experience working with issuers, acquirers, merchants and merchant partners.
- SQL and MicroStrategy tools experience is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering or related field with focus on strategic and quantitative modules.
- 7–10 years of experience in the payments industry, financial services or consulting.
- Analytical and quantitative skills; able to resolve complex problems with well‑structured analysis.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to apply technical information to business solutions.
- Proven expertise in modeling techniques and managing large data sets using Excel and Access; ability to communicate complex analysis strategically using PowerPoint and other presentation tools.
- Willingness to take on new challenges in a fast‑paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication, problem‑solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills for negotiating and influencing stakeholders.
- Organized self‑starter, results‑oriented, and passionate about scaling new products.
- A natural appetite for continuous enhancements and process improvement; proactive in identifying opportunities and recommendations to increase quality and/or efficiency.
