Mahindra And Mahindra Ltd. in Nagpur invites an experienced Senior Manager to lead planning, commissioning and operation of plant-wide mechanical utilities and infrastructure for a greenfield automotive facility.

The role requires overseeing HVAC, water systems, firefighting, and utility networks with a focus on safety, energy efficiency and future expansion. You will coordinate across multiple engineering domains, manage multiple vendors, monitor progress, and implement TPM and reliability

Qualifications

• 10-15 years of experience in relevant field.
• BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Lead planning, execution and commissioning of plant-wide mechanical utility projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets and readiness.
• Drive HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, water, firefighting, piping, and other common utility infrastructure development.
• Review utility layouts, drawings and specifications for compliance with project requirements, regulations, and expansion plans.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering and Project teams for seamless integration.
• Manage consultants, contractors, vendors and service providers to achieve safety, quality, cost and delivery objectives.
• Monitor project progress, budget utilization, installation quality and execution risks; drive corrective actions for timely milestones and SOP readiness.
• Establish preventive maintenance, TPM and reliability improvement systems for utility assets to ensure long-term reliability.
• Monitor utility consumption, system performance and KPIs; drive energy conservation and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements and approvals throughout project and operations.
• Support infrastructure modernization, capacity expansion and future growth while ensuring reliable utility availability.

Purpose of the role:

Lead planning, execution, commissioning and operational readiness of common mechanical utilities and infrastructure for the Greenfield Automotive Manufacturing Facility and ensure reliable operation, maintenance, compliance, energy efficiency and future expansion support of utility assets throughout the plant lifecycle.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead planning, execution and commissioning of plant-wide common mechanical utility and infrastructure projects during the Greenfield phase, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budget targets and operational readiness requirements.
• Drive development of HVAC systems, compressed air systems, chilled water systems, industrial water systems, firefighting systems, utility piping networks and common utility infrastructure across the manufacturing facility.
• Review utility layouts, engineering drawings, technical specifications and design deliverables to ensure compliance with project requirements, statutory regulations and future expansion plans.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production, Civil, Electrical, Industrial Engineering and Project teams to ensure seamless integration of common utility systems and infrastructure.
• Manage consultants, contractors, vendors and service providers to achieve project objectives related to safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Monitor project progress, budget utilization, installation quality and execution risks, and drive corrective actions to ensure timely completion of project milestones and SOP readiness.
• Establish preventive maintenance, TPM and reliability improvement systems for HVAC systems, air compressors, chilled water systems, firefighting systems and utility networks to ensure long‑term operational reliability.
• Monitor utility consumption, system performance and utility KPIs, and drive energy conservation, cost optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety requirements, statutory regulations, inspections, audits and utility‑related approvals throughout project and operational phases.
• Support infrastructure modernization, capacity expansion, utility augmentation and future business growth requirements while ensuring reliable and sustainable utility availability across the plant.

Experience

10-15 Years in relevant field

Industry Preferred

Automotive OEM / Auto Component / Manufacturing / EPC Projects
