Job summary

Hector And Streak Consulting in Mumbai is seeking a Sr. Manager / AVP for the BIU to lead MIS, FP&A, and business intelligence initiatives across PAN India.

This role reports to the Finance Head and sits in middle management, focusing on performance analytics for sales, distribution, and product profitability. The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of BI/MIS experience in mutual fund or broking, strong Excel/PowerPoint skills, and the ability to translate large datasets into actionable

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in BI, MIS, FP&A, or Business Finance.
• Mandatory experience in the Mutual Fund or Broking industry.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of BI tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work with large datasets, generate actionable insights, and present findings to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage Sales MIS at PAN India, Regional, Branch, and Relationship Manager (RM) levels.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance, including target vs. achievement, RM mapping, and industry sales/AUM analysis.
• Develop monthly business reviews, management presentations, and Board decks.
• Drive profitability analysis through financial projections, branch and product P&L, distributor profitability, and peer benchmarking.
• Prepare investment MIS, including portfolio performance, return analysis, portfolio ratios, attribution analysis, and Investment Committee reports.
• Analyze commission and expense ratios to support business planning and decision-making.
