Job summary

Execo is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to operate at the intersection of expert commercial contracting and GenAI-driven tools. You will bridge client legal teams with internal engineers to ensure AI-powered review and negotiation tools meet real-world legal standards.

You will lead workshops, guide negotiations for US-based counterparties, and translate legal requirements into actionable prompts for technical teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 7+ PQE in complex commercial contracting.
• Extensive experience drafting and reviewing international contracts, with a strong preference for US-based counterparties.
• Excellent English communication and ability to translate legalese for technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative workshops: advise US-based legal teams and document contract negotiation playbooks, redlining positions, and risk tolerances.
• Serve as a legal domain authority in client-facing engagements and guide executives through AI-driven negotiation instructions.
• Translate nuanced legal requirements into structured, actionable logic for technical teams building AI models and prompts.
• Perform expert-level validation of platform outputs to ensure AI-generated redlines align with client commercial standards.
• Support clients through UAT and implementation, gathering feedback to refine tool performance.

You are the strategic bridge between sophisticated client legal teams and our internal engineers, ensuring that AI-powered contract review and negotiation tools are architected to meet complex, real-world legal requirements.

• Lead Consultative Workshops: Act as the primary advisor to US-based legal teams, deeply documenting their contract negotiation playbooks, redlining positions, and specific risk tolerances.
• Legal Domain Authority: Serve as the subject matter expert in client-facing engagements, guiding General Counsel and Legal Ops leaders through the definition of AI-driven negotiation instructions.
• Technical Translation: Convert nuanced legal requirements into structured, actionable logic for technical teams to build precise AI models and prompts.
• High-Level Quality Assurance: Perform expert-level validation of platform outputs to ensure AI-generated redlines align perfectly with client commercial standards.
• UAT & Implementation Support: Support clients through the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, gathering feedback to refine tool performance and ensure technical "readiness."
