Job summary

Birlasoft is seeking an SAP PM Lead to drive SAP Plant Maintenance and Asset Management across the maintenance lifecycle in India (Noida and other cities). The role demands 8+ years of experience, strong domain knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include configuring maintenance processes, integration with procurement and inventory, and ensuring testing and hypercare support. Travel and overlap with global business hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP Plant Maintenance or Asset Management.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial or maintenance engineering.
• Certification in SAP is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design technical object structures: functional locations, equipment and BOMs.
• Configure preventive, reactive, improvement and overhead maintenance processes.
• Configure maintenance plans, task lists, work orders and confirmations.
• Plan maintenance resource scheduling and capacity.
• Configure cost capture and settlement to controlling objects.
• Support integration with materials management for spares and inventory.
• Prepare test scripts, data migration and hypercare support.

Key Responsibilities:

Required SAP and Domain Expertise

• SAP S/4HANA Asset Management or Plant Maintenance across the full maintenance lifecycle.
• Technical object hierarchy design and maintenance master data.
• Preventive maintenance planning, work order management and confirmations.
• Maintenance resource scheduling and mobile maintenance concepts.
• Integration with procurement, inventory, finance and controlling.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of SAP Plant Maintenance or Asset Management experience.
• Heavy manufacturing or process plant environment experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, industrial or maintenance engineering; relevant SAP certification desirable.
• Minimum 4 hours daily overlap with European and US business hours.
