Job summary

Programmers.IO is seeking a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Technical Consultant to design, develop, and customize JD Edwards applications (8.x–9.2) to meet client requirements. This role offers a flexible, remote work environment with cross-functional collaboration to deliver solutions in line with governance.

You should bring 5+ years of hands-on JD Edwards experience, strong problem-solving skills, and proficiency with tools like JDE E1, BSSV, Web services, BI Publisher, and Orchestrator.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (8.x to 9.2).
• Proven ability to analyse, modify, customize JD Edwards applications and interfaces.
• Experience with governance and policy adherence during development.

Responsibilities

• Analyse, modify, and develop JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications to support user requirements.
• Use JDE development tools to customize applications per business needs.
• Adhere to governance and policy during modification and development.
• Review requirements and develop design specs to meet them.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business needs and timelines.
• Troubleshoot development issues and propose solutions.
• Perform unit tests to verify functionality against specs.

• Analyse, modify/customize, and develop JD Edwards Enterprise One (8.x to 9.2) applications to support user requirements including interfaces to non-JDE applications.
• Use JDE development tools to customize the application based on business needs.
• Adherence to established Governance and policy during modification and development.
• Review functional requirements and develop design specifications to meet the requirements.
• Ensure that project deliverable meet business requirements and ensure to complete project within assigned timelines.
• Troubleshoot development issues and recommend solutions.
• Perform unit tests to verify the application functionality against the requirements/design specification.
• Provide recommendations for system improvements whenever required
