Job summary

Value Vision seeks a Senior JDE Developer to lead JD Edwards development and enhancements across our ERP solutions, acting as an internal consultant for JDE and Finance. You will be an expert in all aspects of JDE delivery and tools, collaborating with teams and stakeholders to drive efficiency.

You will mentor peers, design robust integrations, and ensure performance, security, and compliance while staying current with JDE trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in technology or business fields.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining JDE and related software.
• Experience with JDE tools: OMW, FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN, BI Publisher, E1 pages, Orchestrator.
• Experience designing Café one, E1 pages, Composite pages, Power forms, UDOs, Orchestrator.
• Expertise in integration development and Web Services (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with JDE modules: Finance, AR, AP, GL, Asset management, Job Costing, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing.

Job description

As a Senior JDE Developer, you will leverage your deep expertise in JD Edwards to lead the development and enhancement of our ERP solutions, driving efficiency and innovation across our business processes. This is a technical role; as such, you will be an expert, internal consultant for our JDE and Finance.You will be experienced in all aspects of software delivery, and you will experienced in all aspects of JDE development tools, such as Web Object Management, JDE Orchestrations and C+. You are a team player, you cultivate relationships, building rapport and trust with your colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and implement robust JD Edwards solutions that align with business objectives and optimize operational efficiencies.
• Design and implement integrations between JDE and other enterprise applications, ensuring data integrity and seamless workflows
• As a senior member of the team, provide mentorship and guidance on best practices in JDE development and coding standards, the effective use of KDE tools and system integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess system functionality, and deliver high-quality JDE solutions.
• Ensure the ongoing performance, reliability, and security of JD Edwards applications through regular monitoring and maintenance.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements in JD Edwards and ERP systems, implementing relevant improvements.
• Facilitate technical discussions, driving consensus on technical decisions and implementation strategies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in JDE applications utilising debugging tools and techniques
• Learning Mindset: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solutions remain innovative and competitive. Recommend innovative solutions that could enhance business performance.
• Forward Thinking: Identify areas for technology investments and business process improvement based on business growth and needs.
• Participate in the complete life cycle of application and solution development.
• Governance and Compliance: Ensure that all development complies with relevant regulations, industry standards, and organizational policies, and support IT governance efforts.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive technical documentation of the JDE technical architecture, including system diagrams, technical specifications, and technical roadmaps.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Degree in a technology or business-related discipline or equivalent related experience.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining JDE and related software applications
• Proven experience with JDE tools like OMW, FDA, RDA, NER, BSFN, BI Publisher, E1 pages, Business services and Orchestrator.
• Experience in designing Café one, E1 pages, Composite pages, Power forms, UDOs, Orchestrator.
• Expertise in integration development and Web Services (REST, SOAP)
• Experience in the following JDE Modules: Foundation including Address Book; Finance, AR, AP, GL, Fixed Assets, ACB; Job Costing; Service; Contract Billing; Sales; Pricing; Inventory; Purchasing
• Knowledge of cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, Oracle cloud) and their integrations with JD Edwards.
