Job summary

Net Connect is seeking a Senior Java Developer in Mumbai to design and build high-performance, low-latency, large-scale distributed systems for real-time trading data. You will work on Java-based microservices, messaging platforms, and cloud-native deployments in a BFSI context.

You will collaborate across teams to implement observability, CI/CD, and performance tuning, shaping resilient architectures for high-throughput workloads.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 and microservices.
• Proficient in designing high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.
• Experience with Kafka, streaming platforms, and event-driven architecture.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, patterns, and performance tuning.
• Experience in BFSI or real-time trading data is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong experience building large-scale distributed systems and event-driven platforms. The role focuses on developing low-latency, high-throughput systems for real-time alerts, risk monitoring, and post-trade processing in a BFSI environment.

You will be responsible for designing and building high-performance Java-based microservices and messaging platforms capable of handling high-volume real-time trading data.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance distributed systems using Java and event-driven architecture
• Build and enhance messaging middleware and streaming platforms using Kafka
• Develop low-latency microservices for trading alerts, risk monitoring, and post-trade systems
• Implement high availability, resiliency, and fault-tolerant systems
• Design scalable solutions supporting large/bursting real-time workloads
• Work on cloud-native architecture and containerized deployments
• Improve SDLC practices, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps processes
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams on observability, monitoring, logging, and performance tuning

Required Technical Skills

Core Java & Backend
