Job summary

TE Connectivity in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced AI product & project owner to drive end-to-end AI initiatives from discovery to value realization.

You will balance project management with AI strategy, align stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure responsible AI practices while delivering measurable ROI. The role requires 12+ years in IT project management, a Bachelor's degree, and PMP or Scrum Master is a plus. Collaboration with CIOs and senior management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Owns discovery of business, data, and process requirements, including downstream change impacts
• Translates business problems into AI solvable questions
• Ensures AI work creates real business value, not just technical output
• Owns AI solution success across its lifecycle, including post deployment monitoring and value realization
• Ensures responsible AI principles (fairness, transparency, explainability) are considered and escalated where needed
• Aligns data readiness and ownership with AI delivery milestones
• Collaborates with CIOs and BU Senior-managements to own use case selection and prioritization
• Owns the tracking of success metrics (ROI, efficiency, risk reduction) – also after solution-delivery
• Decides build vs buy vs stop – including proper escalation mechanism
• Drive and participate in the testing and user-acceptance phases
• Plan project timeline and milestones
• Collaborate with AI and data architects to create work break down
• Identifies and mitigates delivery, data, and AI specific risks (e.g. bias, drift, adoption)
• Monitor and control project progress
• Ensure effective and proactive/structured communication
• Drive projects to closure as planned
• Support team with documentation
• Mentor and support junior team members

Job Overview

This role combines classical project-management principles with AI product-ownership.

It’s important to understand, drive and deliver projects from project initiation to closure. EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

Bachelor’s degree - Any

Qualifications & Experience

PMP or Scrum Master certification (good to have)
