Job summary

McGraw Hill is seeking an Informatica IICS Developer to design and maintain enterprise-grade integrations across cloud and on-prem systems. You will work with business analysts and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable data movement and integration solutions while contributing to cloud modernization initiatives.

Key focus areas include building mappings, task flows, and transformations, as well as integrating with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud using REST/SOAP APIs and BIP/UCM/FBDI mechanisms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of integration development with Informatica IICS.
• Strong hands-on experience in IICS Data Integration and cloud-based ETL/ELT development.
• Hands-on experience developing mappings, mapping tasks, task flows, transformations, and reusable objects.
• Experience with parameterization, workflow orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling.
• Knowledge of IICS Administration, including Secure Agent configuration and runtime environments.
• Experience with large-volume data movement and file-based integrations (CSV/XML/flat files).
• Strong SQL development and Oracle database understanding.
• Experience building integrations with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud, REST and SOAP services, and Oracle APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using IICS across enterprise apps, cloud platforms, and on-prem systems.
• Build and maintain mappings, tasks, flows, transformations, and reusable components with data quality and reconciliation.
• Develop integrations with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud using REST, SOAP, BIP, UCM, and FBDI mechanisms.
• Create task flows with conditional logic, event-driven processing, and robust error handling.
• Optimize performance for large-volume data movements and ensure scalability of integrations.
• Provide production support, monitor jobs, diagnose failures, and participate in deployments across environments.
• Collaborate with analysts, consultants, and technical teams; maintain technical documentation and development standards.

You will work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing integration solutions while contributing to our cloud modernization initiatives.

What you will be doing:

Integration Development

You will design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), ensuring seamless movement of data across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and on-premises systems.

Data Integration & Transformation

You will build and maintain mappings, mapping tasks, task flows, transformations, and reusable components while ensuring data quality, validation, transformation, and reconciliation across multiple systems.

Oracle ERP Fusion Integrations

You will develop and support integrations with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud using REST and SOAP APIs, Oracle web services, BIP Reports, UCM, and FBDI-based integration mechanisms.

Workflow Orchestration

You will develop task flows with conditional logic, event-driven processing, sequential and parallel execution, notifications, and robust error handling capabilities.

Performance & Scalability

You will work with large-volume data integrations, optimize performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and ensure scalability of integration solutions.

Operational Support

You will monitor integration jobs, investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, provide production support, and participate in deployment activities across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.

Collaboration & Documentation

You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, implement solutions, and maintain technical documentation, standards, and development best practices.

We're looking for someone with:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5–8 years of experience in integration development with strong hands-on expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
• Strong experience with IICS Data Integration and cloud-based ETL/ELT development
• Hands-on experience developing mappings, mapping tasks, task flows, transformations, and reusable objects
• Experience with parameterization, workflow orchestration, scheduling, monitoring, and error handling
• Knowledge of IICS Administration, including Secure Agent configuration, runtime environments, user access management, scheduling, and monitoring
• Experience handling large-volume data movement and file-based integrations using CSV, XML, and flat-file interfaces
• Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and advanced SQL development
• Experience building and supporting integrations with Oracle ERP Fusion Cloud
• Strong understanding of REST and SOAP web services
• Experience working with Oracle ERP integration mechanisms including BIP Reports, UCM, FBDI, and APIs
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud platforms
• Exposure to or hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
• Experience with Application Integration, API-based integrations, or Cloud Data Integration within IICS
• Experience supporting Secure Agent upgrades, environment migrations, and operational support activities
• Understanding of cloud integration security, performance tuning, and industry best practices
• Experience developing automation solutions using REST and SOAP services
